Benefiting society

Reinholdt W. Jorck Ltd. was founded in 1913 – four years after Reinholdt W. Jorck’s death. The founders of the company were three of his children; District Attorney Knud Jorck, Consul Georg Jorck and widow Lydia Levy, born Jorck.

The two brothers each set up their own fund, to which they bequeathed most of their wealth. The purpose was, then as today, that the majority of the company’s profits should be reinvested in activities that in one way or another benefit society.

The company’s main shareholders are the two funds; “Reinholdt W. Jorck and Wife Foundation” and “Consul Georg Jorck and Wife Emma Jorck Foundation”.

In our digital magazine you can read more about the two foundations.
